EQ Weekly is the online magazine of the Recording Institute of Detroit. EQ started out as a paper magazine in 1986. Over time we have changed how and what we deliver but the goal has always been to share the knowledge.

The Recording institute of Detroit has been teaching the recording arts for over 30 years and is owned and operated by RECORDING INSTITUTE OF DETROIT, INC., 14611 East Nine Mile Rd., Eastpointe, MI 48021. The school operates under license by The Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Development.
